Southbound Food Festival returns for its fourth year this September with ten days celebrating Birmingham's vibrant food scene and 100 chefs bringing their best. The Heritage Dinner kicks things off on September 18 at 6:00 PM at 29th Street at Pepper Place, featuring a multi-course seated dinner honoring Southern heritage ingredients and the Frank Stitt Award recipients. Throughout the festival week, you'll find signature events like Rooted: Women in Food at the Market at Pepper Place on September 19, collaborative pop-ups at local restaurants, Southern Living's Food & Fire at Sloss Furnaces on September 26, and the Funk Brunch: Juke Jam on September 27.
