New art exhibits are opening at the Gadsden Museum of Art with two reception dates to mark the occasion. On September 4th from 5 to 7 p.m., you can meet the artists behind "Oblivion" by Douglas Barrett, "Ley/Lines" by Franklin Jeffers, and "Siete Vidas" by Maria Korol. Then on October 2nd from 5 to 7 p.m., check out work from Dan Tipton's "Connection," Wesley Bishop's "A Gentle Gravity: Fat Bodies Suspended in Color," and Valencia Ragan's "A Muse for the Creative Artist." The museum is located at 515 Broad Street in Gadsden.
