Event Sourcing Methodology

Where event information comes from

• Direct submissions from event organizers and participating businesses
• Official organizer, venue, municipal, county, tourism, and community calendars
• Public event pages and other publicly available sources that identify the event

How information is prepared

Hollr may use automated tools to collect, normalize, and deduplicate event facts. Publication controls evaluate the source, date, location, and required fields; some records also receive manual review.

Descriptions from outside sources may be shortened or rewritten in original language. Hollr does not intentionally republish protected promotional copy as its own, and organizer-supplied wording remains attributed to the listing.

Freshness and limitations

Upcoming listings are organized around the event's intended local calendar date. Duplicate occurrences are consolidated when they refer to the same event and date.

Events can be postponed, canceled, relocated, or changed after publication. Hollr removes past events from upcoming discovery and updates verified changes when they become known, but visitors should confirm important details with the organizer before attending.
