Correct the Record

Corrections and Removal Policy

Anyone can flag a factual problem. Business owners, event organizers, and affected individuals can also request an update or removal review.

How to submit a request

  • Send the exact Hollr page URL and the business or event name.
  • Describe what is incorrect and provide the accurate replacement information.
  • Include a first-party or authoritative source when one is available.
  • If requesting removal or control of a listing, explain your relationship to the business, event, or affected information.

How Hollr responds

Hollr evaluates the request against the listing, available sources, and any ownership or organizer evidence. Depending on the facts, Hollr may correct, annotate, temporarily hide, archive, restore, or remove the public listing.

Clear factual errors can be corrected without changing the entire listing. Disputed claims may be held while Hollr seeks better evidence.

Removal considerations

Reasons for removal can include a duplicate or fabricated listing, a canceled event, a permanently closed business, impersonation, a substantiated privacy or safety concern, or information that cannot be supported.

A request is not automatically granted solely because public, factual information is unfavorable or because a source later changes. Hollr aims to make decisions consistently and will prioritize accurate, lawful, and community-safe information.
