Business Verification Process

What Hollr checks

• The business appears to be a real organization serving an Alabama community.
• The business name, category, location or service area, and contact details are reasonably consistent with available evidence.
• The listing is not deceptive, duplicative, prohibited, or presented as another business.
• Owner-submitted claims and media are relevant to the business being listed.

Ownership and updates

A person asking to control or materially change a listing may be asked to show a reasonable connection to the business. Supporting evidence can include an official website, a business-domain email, a matching public profile, or other documentation appropriate to the request.

Hollr may limit, reject, archive, or restore a listing when ownership is disputed or reliable information changes.

What approval does not mean

Approval means the listing met Hollr's publication requirements at the time of review. It is not a license check, background check, inspection, endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of a business's products, services, safety, availability, or current operating status.

Paid features do not guarantee approval and do not exempt a listing from the same factual and community standards.
